What about our dreams and all the memories we share? My name is John Hoover, and my band and I bring to you the best tribute of John Denver to you and your listening audience. No we do not look like John, I am not an impersonator. But we work hard to channel the energy, the stories, the love and passion, the reverent connection with our Mother Earth and all her peoples, that John used to bring to his live performances. John Hoover and the Mighty Quinns, offer you an opportunity to create and experience a great musical connection with you and your friends. We bring an eclectic show of originals, classic rock, folk and upon special request the premiere John Denver tribute band in the United States.[We have copyright clearance from the John Denver Estate] We will work with you to promote and organize advertising, using varied media responses to help generate interest and coordinate a great evening of music. We have performed up and down the Western US at vineyards such as Faith Hope and Charity, LaValle Vineyards, and Camaraderie to name a few. We have become regulars at many folk and cowboy music festivals, The Taste of Tacoma and the Bite of Seattle and the virtual worldwide concert for National Public Lands Day hosted by Corazon Latino music celebrations. We have shared our music in various listening rooms such as Concert in the Woods and the Bohemian Art Loft, and many House Concerts. The most intimate, elegant and fulfilling shows I’ve ever been a part of, are playing house concerts. Feeling the energy in the room, the smiling faces before me, go from being an audience, to a community, to being musical friends. We share, as that community, the musical experience, when we can hear people’s audible reactions to meaningful moments in song and lyric, or see each other tear up during songs that touch each of us in a personal way, and we feel each other relax during the lighter moments we share in the room. There is a near magical, or spiritual connection between the performer and the audience in the context of such an intimate show. Putting on concerts in people’s homes has also given us the opportunity to build some relationships with supporters of my music, that have grown into meaningful friendships. Over the years of doing this, we’ve essentially acquired a network of extended family around the entire country because of the relationships we’ve built on our house concert tours.
