April Spain  Jazz Pianist from Houston, TX

April Spain is a Pianist/Vocalist who has performed across the country and internationally in Hotels, Casinos, Night Clubs and private functions. She performs piano and vocal jazz, standards, bossa nova, and blues as a solo artist, as a duo or with any size combo including guitar, bass, & drums with the option of additional instruments required. Her influences include: Diana Krall, Michael Buble, Frank Sinatra, Billy Holiday and her song list features standards from the 30's,40's,50's,60's as well as swinging Blues hits and Holiday favorites. Born in Texas on April 3rd, but raised in the Wash. D.C. area where her family and environment exposed her to the sounds that shaped her musical style. Although self taught on piano, she discovered that she possessed a natural talent and a four octave plus vocal range. Making music her life, she has performed jazz and a variety of favorites as well as some original compositions for audiences around the globe. Living in Memphis, New Orleans and touring Europe and Japan, helped to shape her a world view of music as an ever evolving art form. "Audiences are spellbound".....
