It all started with a simple dream. "As a child of the 1970's I was exposed to the sounds of Rock, Blues, Soul, Funk, R&B and Gospel. From my mother, who love of all styes of music, playing her LP's and 45's night and day. From my bed side radio I listened to WVON and WLS night and day. I use to wish I could stay home from school just so I could listen to the radio. From church, every Sunday where I sung in the choir. From Jubilee's Showcase, a TV we all watched before going to church, The Midnight Special, Don Krisner Rock Concert, Hee Haw, the neighborhood musicians. My ears were full of music 24 hours a day.
One day after watching John Denver perform on TV, for some reason it hit me. I really wanted a guitar. I bug my parents till they got me one. I think it was one of those Sears catalog acoustic specials. Didn't matter to me, IT WAS A GUITAR. A year later I when to a local music store and picked up a couple of Mel Bay Beginner Guitar books and started teaching myself."
