Birthday Party (Adult)Reviewed on December 7, 2007From Dallas, TX

The band was great. The music was great. They played at my wife's surprise 40th birthday party and they were a huge hit. Thanks so much.

They were great - absolutely professional and sounded fantastic! They were definitely a large part of what made our wedding reception as cool as it was. 6 months later, people are still talking about it. Thanks guys!

Birthday Party (Adult)Reviewed on February 24, 2007From Dallas, TX

They were very talented and professional. I was uncertain at first about booking a band on the website for such an important event (wifes 40th birthday) after all I had only one shot to do this right, but my worries were alleved after having email contact directly with the band. It was well worth the 5% referral fee considerting the trouble I would have had to go through in hunting down a local band myself. The party went great and the band was the hit of the evening...now to get ready for the 41st party. James Legate

Grand OpeningReviewed on May 12, 2007From Arlington, TX

I was very pleased with the trio as they played during our Grand Opening events and Chris McGuire was great to work with while setting up the gig. I will use The Chris McGuire Trio in the future if planning another event in their area.

Community EventReviewed on June 21, 2007From Cleburne, TX

If you want a very mellow progressive jazz band for background at an event, this is a technically skilled one. BUT I requested a zydeco band; CM Trio lacks the instruments, the knowledge, the music, and the fun spirit of zydeco. I clearly told the contact person, who was difficult to contact, that our crowd doesn't care for jazz. I asked them to play anything else midway during the concert; they refused. So I was humiliated, the night drug on,& some of the crowd voted with their feet as they left. Bettye Cook, educator

When we are offered an opportunity to perform a gig, we always look at what kind of venue it will be, where it is, how many people will be there, and what type of music they are looking for. Based on what Bettye Cook was looking for in a band, we were included in her search, and she gave us an offer. She was looking for a Zydeco playing band that could play Dixieland, with an accordion. We clearly let her know that we did not have an accordion player, but that we could no doubt deliver a great Dixieland performance. In a string of e-mails, it became clear that she wanted Dixieland, and we continued to make it clear that we would deliver just that. To better our perf
