Sue Pasquale and her husband Bill co-lead a jazz band in the Chicago area, performing standards and jazz classics. They work as a duo (voice & guitar), trio with bass, or with their full four to five piece band, depending on the venue. Their repertoire is a compilation of the Great American Songbook (Tony Bennet, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Carmen Mcrae); Bossa Nova's ala Jobim and 'easy to listen to' Brazilian music; Jazz tunes by such composers as Quincy Jones and Charlie Parker; Swing and Show tunes for dancing. The sound is reminiscent of the 1950's/1960's 'Show Acts' in the Las Vegas lounges. Their sound is so polished and impecibly clean that their new cd ('Girltalk', available on Amazon.com and heard on WDCB Chicago) was recorded live in the studio with no retakes or enhancements.
