Consisting of Guitar, Upright Bass & Drums, the Tony Salvatore Trio performs instrumental Jazz/Rock/World music, featuring contemporary interpretations of Jazz & Pop standards, along with Tony's eclectic original tunes. Tony has recorded/performed with: Sophie B Hawkins, Kate Pierson (B-52s), Bill Frisell, Perry Farrell (Jane's Addiction), Taj Mahal, Jane Siberry, Emily Saliers (Indigo Girls), Keith Carlock (Sting, Steely Dan), BETTY & Heather Greene. The band performs regularly at the Mansfield Hotel's M Bar at in midtown, & has performed at a variety of Benefits, Gallery Openings, Weddings & Corporate Events at venues including the Guggenheim Museum, The Soho Grand Hotel, Angel Orensanz Foundation, the French Consulate, WNYC performance & interview w/John Schaeffer, Tom Cole's G-Strings on WPFW in Washington, DC, & The Freer Museum in DC. For more limited budgets, Tony also performs solo, with a Looper & a Sequencer, and in a Duo format with Drums or Upright Bass. Additionally, the group can expand to include Sax, Keyboards &/or Cello.
