Well-versed in Great American Songbook staples and jazz favorites of the likes of Cole Porter and George Gershwin, John has performed in a variety of cocktail parties and receptions in the D.C. area, such as the 2015 Smithsonian Craft Show at the National Building Museum and a 2015-2016 weekly residence at the Beacon Hotel in downtown Washington, D.C.
