Go Daddy-O! Indigo Jazz is a hot little big band that plays a mix of swing, jazz, rock and pop spanning decades from the 30s to the 70s and beyond. We play fun, uptempo songs like Jump, Jive and Wail, What Is Hip? and 25 or 6 to 4 as well as traditional standards like Take the A Train and In the Mood -- but with a little extra attitude! We feature outstanding female and male vocalists as well as exciting, professional soloists. The group is configurable based on our client's needs. We can scale the group from a trio (guitar, bass, female vocalist) to a small combo (add drums and 1 horn) to the full band (add up to 6 more horns). At full strength we get the sound of a traditional big band (which would typically include 17 pieces) with a much smaller footprint and less volume. Because we are versatile with a large library of music (200+ charts and growing) we can also tailor our set to your needs.
