The Hunter Strasser Group is comprised of jazz musicians from the DFW area led by guitarist Hunter Strasser, a South Carolina native recently relocated to Dallas. The repertoire includes a mix of vocal and instrumental American Songbook standards, classic latin and Brazilian tunes, and modern jazz standards. The group is extremely versatile and can perform in many different scenarios including parties, dinners, corporate events and more. The size of the group is very flexible in order to best fit the need of each event. It can range from solo jazz guitar, duo guitar and a vocalist, trio with guitar, bass, and drums, all the way to a full quintet featuring guitar, bass, drums, saxophone and a vocalist.
