Alice Limoges has performed across North America, released 4 albums, and played on a Grammy Award winning children's album. In addition to singing jazz and your favorite covers with her duo partner Bill Barnes, she shares her original music about the joys and love she has found in Maine. Born and raised on a mountain by the sea in Rockport, Maine, Alice Limoges was singing before she could walk. After spending 7 years working in the New York City music scene, touring, and releasing 4 albums, the coronavirus pandemic guided her back to Midcoast Maine in 2020. Her life has blossomed with new inspirations in the beautiful landscape of her childhood, leading to a new canon of songs celebrating the life, beauty, and love she has found in Maine. Alice shares these intimate, heartwarming songs with guests from near and far in such diverse venues as yachts and sailboats, backyard parties, home, campfires, and private serenades in nature. In 2021, she teamed up with longtime friend and collaborator Bill Barnes, whose versatile jazz guitar skills heighten her performance, opening up repertoire of all genres including jazz, folk, pop, and rock. They can come into the forefront with an engaging show featuring original songs and storytelling or take the backseat with your favorite covers while your guests focus on conversation. Alice and Bill can accommodate your musical tastes and learn some of your favorite songs. Alice began writing custom songs in the winter of 2022 and never looked back. She's since written over 20 songs of all topics. Proposals, anniversaries, a mother to a daughter, a son to a father. To begin, Alice will ask you a variety of questions about your situation and then within 2 weeks, your song will be finished. She can perform this at your event as well as creating a high quality studio recording with an optional lyric video. Packages… Alice solo or sunset serenade, 1 hour or two 40 minute sets: $500 1 hour original acoustic music, small setup (Alice’s acoustic guitar amp and one vocal mic, suitable for smaller indoor spaces). Repertoire includes original songs on topics of love, nature, and living in the moment, Joni Mitchell, oldie favorites, and your requests. Storytelling or taking the back seat and building ambience for your event. If you choose the sunset serenade, Alice will take you out to a beautiful location and serenade you for a sunset picnic. Note that Alice can not play solo longer than two 45 minute sets due to injury. Alice and Bill - 2 hours, small space - $1000 2 hours original, jazz, covers. More choice in covers and requests.
