The Kronick Jazz Ensemble Jazz Band from Minneapolis, MN

The Kronick Jazz Ensemble performs as a trio (usually guitar-bass-drums or piano-bass-drums) or as a quartet or quintet with the addition of saxophone and/or trumpet. The group is led by bassist, composer, arranger, and vocalist Richard Kronick. Richard studied orchestral bass with James Clute of the Minnesota Orchestra and jazz bass with Terry Burns of the McNally-Smith College of Music. The Minneapolis-based group has been playing insrumental and vocal jazz and blues for more than 10 years. You can hear us monthly at the Riverview Cafe & Wine Bar in Minneapolis. We feature Richard's professional arrangements and excellent soloists with great improvisational skills. Our repertoire includes swing, bebop, Latin, cool, and funk styles with hundreds of songs to choose from. We can tailor a gig to your needs -- anything from background music for parties, sales events, and conventions to wedding dances to club or stage performances.
