I hired Sydney & Jake for my shop opening party and I am so glad that I did! Their french cafe vibe was exactly what I envisioned. They played wonderfully the entire evening and people couldn't stop talking about how great their sound is. Sydney & Jake were easy to communicate with from beginning to end. They are lovely people and I cannot wait to hire them for another event!

Sydney and Jake were the hit of the wedding. Everyone commented on how great they were. They were super sweet and professional throughout. They worked up a great cover of a song for our first dance and it was perfect. Lovely to work with. I can't recommend enough!

My wife and I hired Sydney & Jake to play our daughter's one-year birthday picnic. We were familiar with their music because they often play gigs at a cafe in our neighborhood. As a jazz fan, I was drawn to their music, which they play in a very classic and accessible style. The combination of Jake's talented saxophone playing with Sydney's guitar work and breathtaking voice is stunning and I noticed my infant daughter enjoyed watching them perform. I reached out via GigMasters and booked them. Sydney & Jake were eager, accommodating, and a pleasure to work with, even going so far as to take personal song requests. Their performance was fantastic, drawing a crowd.

When it came time to decide on musicians to play our wedding, we knew Sydney & Jake would be the perfect pairing. The duo is as classy as they come and have an extraordinary amount of talent between them. Sydney's voice is the sound of reverie, a fully expressed enchanting musicality, and Jake's accompaniment on guitar or sax girds every arrangement in that Goldilocks zone of soul, style, and dynamism. They brought the house down at the rehearsal and had everyone singing along to "Across the Universe" during the ceremony. We couldn't be happier with their performances and they have our endless gratitude for being such a memorable part of our special day.

The Pizza Bats are incredible. We booked them for a 80-person wedding in a restaurant garden, but they would've been great for anything from a 20-person event to a 200+ person event. They played instrumentals as guests arrived, did the processional/recessional, then played/sang beautifully during our cocktail hour - they truly could not have sounded any better. It seemed like every person I talked to during the cocktail hour asked us about The Pizza Bats.
The Pizza Bats were the ultimate professionals. They met us before work to talk about what we had in mind, they learned new songs and even sent us recordings. They were incredible from beginning to end. BOOK'EM!

I hired the Pizza Bats because I wanted to do something really special for a birthday party. They delivered all I wanted and more. Great choice of standards and other tunes. Great arrangements.
