The Marcus Benoit Trio is an instrumental jazz and Pop music ensemble that features saxophone with jazz guitar and acoustic bass. It is perfect for Wedding Cocktail Receptions, corporate cocktail hours or dinners or any occasion where mellow music for listening and ambiance is needed. The Marcus Benoit Trio songlist includes music that ranges from Duke Ellington to Frank Sinatra to Al Green and Burt Bacharach. What is unique about this jazz trio is the stylistic range of music it covers from Swing to Bossa Novas to Pop to R&B to smooth jazz and Carribean sounds. Marcus Benoit has been playing saxophone for over 4 decades and was a member of a USAF Field Band for five years and the saxophonist and co composer for the Cole Broderick Band for five years as well. Currently a full time music teacher in the public school system with a BA in Music Education and a Masters in Curriculum. This is the perfect band to make any event that needs professional level instrumental music that enhances the occasion in a classy way.
