Kevin Diggs and The Philly French Revolution Jazz Band from Philadelphia, PA

My name is Kevin D. Diggs, I have been a musician all of my life. At fifteen, I formed a band with other teenagers (Sapphire). We opened for the Isley Brothers and the group and received rave reviews from famed radio personality Georgie Woods. At nineteen, I attended Norfolk State University where I majored in and earned a degree in Music and Media with a minor in History all the while playing at several music venues and even played alongside my professors on their private gigs. I sing and play three instruments ( guitar, keyboard and bass). I have played music throughout the United States and Europe, primarily France with numerous bands and as a solo artist and I played at Patti LaBelle’s club Chez La Belle in my hometown of Philadelphia where I was discovered by Ms. Patti La Belle who recommended me to a French Music Production Company. They hired me, flew me to France and I lived in France for 21 years singing and making music with the company ShowBiz. I have recorded three studio albums and have produced and worked with other artists on their musical work. I returned to the United States in 2016 to live in order to care for my sick father who has since passed away. I have formed a new band which is currently a three member band but has the capacity to be more as needed. We play all genres and are very highly experienced, talented and creative. Clients can expect great talent and versatility; we have ability to incorporate original sounds and modern style into traditional music as well as great original styling a d write original songs fit events if requested. We play anything requested from Bach to Rock, we are essential artists and music is our true love and foremost passion.
