Juan Munguia Quintet Jazz Band from Pasadena, CA

The Juan Munguia Quintet is a jazz group formed by members of all parts of the world (Brazil, Mexico, Ethiopia, UK, USA). The love for jazz and improvisation brought us together, and we've been performing steadily on the LA area for the last 2 years. All of the members have solid music educations (Berklee, Boston Conservatory, LACM, Royal Academy, Souza Lima) and have been mentored by top players in their formation years. The Juan Munguia Quintet can accommodate several line ups, tailored to your specific needs. As of today we have Natalia Spadini on vocals, Juan Munguia on guitar, Aaron Kaplan on Tenor Saxophone, Nathaniel Franklin on trumpet, Kibrom Birhane on piano, William Gardner on Upright Bass and Marcelo Bucater on drums. Our repertoire consists on Jazz standards, Latin-Jazz, Brazilian music and we are open for requests at every performance.
