Jazz Safari: The Story This ain't elevator music. A stylistically unique jazz band, Jazz Safari aims to recreate the golden era of jazz in an age where most classics are forgotten. Grammy-award winning jazz piano legend Ahmad Jamal explains, “People call it 'jazz', but we didn't call it that. I consider it American Classical Music.” If the same generic swing music that's been played over and over again for decades is what you're looking for, Jazz Safari might not be for you.
