Green Island Music Punk Band from Rockaway, NJ

Green Island is an instrumental 8-piece tropical ska-jazz ensemble which entertains listeners with lively solos, thoughtful arrangements, and danceable rhythms. Perfect for parties, our ensemble performs lively tropical jazz music without being too loud for conversation. With a catalog of tropical styles including Reggae, Ska, and Calypso, Green Island pairs especially well with garden parties, pool parties, outdoor dining, beach parties, tiki or tropical themed events, and house parties. Led by bassist Steve Capecci, this ensemble features Peter Lin on Trombone, Ben Hankle on Trumpet, Steve Kirsty on Tenor Saxophone, Oscar Williams on Keyboards, Justin Sabaj on guitar, Mike Majette-Torres on Percussion, and Ramsey Norman on Drums. The repertoire is sourced from 50's, 60's, and 70's caribbean recordings and also features Green Island's own tropical adaptations of jazz standards.
