The Elaine St. George Trio specializes in reinventing the classics of popular music from the 1920s through today -- from George Gershwin and Cole Porter through Bruce Springsteen and Carole King. Smooth jazz for cocktail parties, swinging jazz and '60s tunes for dancing. New York magazine called vocalist Elaine St. George a "showstopping songstress" and Time Out New York said "Barbara Cook and Elaine St. George must have been separated at birth. St. George hits the same gorgeous, shimmery notes." Her trio consists of some of the finest jazz musicians in the business, people like David Epstein on piano, Adam Armstrong on bass and Nick Russo on guitar. Always classy, sophisticated and unexpected.
