Down A Fifth Jazz Band from Smithtown, NY

Cool jazz vocals and a hot jazz band...Down A Fifth is the perfect choice for your event. Fronted by vocalist Doreen Grimaldi and saxophonist/flutist Chris Forte, our quintet can provide classy renditions of many well known jazz and standard songs as well as pop and bossa tunes. We are a group of seasoned musicians who have performed at private parties, corporate events, and local restaurants. We are also available to perform as a duo, trio, or quartet. We perform a mix of jazz and standards, with and without vocals, as well as mellow pop tunes. We will work with you to ensure that your event has the right musical atmosphere, whether you prefer a soft, background type of sound, or something louder and livelier. We will also do our best to perform any special requests for songs that you may have. We also perform a wide variety of Christmas and Holiday tunes and are currently accepting bookings for the holiday season. Make your holiday party special with the warm, inviting sounds of our band.
