I can put together some of the highest level musicians in the area to fit any and all events. We can play New Orleans Trad Jazz, Swing, Straight Ahead, Bebop, Cool, Avant-Garde, or Fusion depending on what works best for your event. Prices will depend on how many musicians you want to hire and what is the length of time required by us. I have a bachelors degree in jazz saxophone performance from Loyola University New Orleans. I have played with bands throughout the Baltimore/DC and New Orleans areas. I've worked with some of the highest level musicians from all different genres including George Clinton and the P-Funk All Stars, Joe Keyes and the Late Bloomer Band (funk), Orchester Prazevica (gypsy folk), J Pope and Funk Friday (hip hop), Hank Levy Legacy Band (20-piece jazz orchestra), Elikeh (afrobeat) 9 Mile Roots (reggae), The Goucher Summer Jazz Faculty Ensemble (straight ahead jazz), Sarah Sullivan and the New Old Fashioneds (20s-30s swing), and many others. In college I had the opportunity to play with some of the most important jazz musicians on the planet: Dick Oatts, Scott Robinson, Robin Eubanks, Brian Blade, Rufus Reid, Nicholas Payton and David Baker I have spent years perfecting my craft and would really enjoy sharing my skills at your event.
