The Blue Jay Acoustic Trio has been working together for three years, playing across Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. They specialize in giving classic jazz their own personal flare. Playing classics from Miles Davis, Bill Evans, Hank Mobley, John Coltrane, and many more. The music is considerably clam, jazzy, mellow and easy listening. The Blue Jay Acoustic Trio started by Julphan Tilapornputt, the guitar player. He formed the band with his NYU fellows, Jim Piela and Trevor. Playing weekly at Open Market in Wall St, NY and Deum Bar in Queens, NY. The band got their recognition in Wall St area. They performed more often in restaurants, cocktail party, wedding and private party.
