Pinhead Susan has its roots in Long Island, NY. Over the past few years of writing, recording, and gigging on Long Island with many local musicians, this group came together sharing a common musical direction and set of goals; to make music that is enjoyable to play, listen to, and motivates an audience to get up and move! Funk/Rock/Jam Band of experienced musicians. Pinhead Susan celebrates their mutual love of blues, funk, jazz, soul, and rock music in the vein of such artists as Tedeschi Trucks, The Meters, Steely Dan, The New Mastersounds, Sly Stone, Lettuce, Rolling Stones, Amy Winehouse, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong and more! They combine original music, along with traditional sounds and songs they have grown up with. With their recipe of a hefty helping of back alley blues, a pinch of modern soul and rock, and a full dose of booty shakin goodness, Pinhead Susan will rouse the hard core rockers, whilst winning the hearts of the young and old.
