The Reelers specialize in traditional Irish music as well as Bluegrass, Americana/Folk and Pop favorites. We can also provide DJ services for your event if you'd like that in addition to live music. We keep the fun going so the music makes the event! We are able to accommodate special song requests you may want for your event as well as find an instrumentation that works well for your budget and needs.
Our instrumentation can include any combination of Fiddle, Guitar, Bass, Percussion, Traditional Uilleann Bagpipes, Mandolin as well as an award-winning Irish dancer! The members of this group have been playing together for years performing in various combinations throughout Southern California, however The Reelers were officially born on March 17, 2015 on Saint Patrick's Day.

I couldn't be happier to have found the Reelers to play our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour!! Every step of planning was so easy when working with Calvin, who was so incredibly nice and accommodating, even when our reception space got changed at the last minute. When it came to deciding music, The Reelers went above and beyond, going as far as to learn a song my brother had written for me to walk down the aisle to, as well as some other favorite Irish tunes. Overall, I would recommend the Reelers to absolutely anyone and everyone! They were a true joy to work with and their talent as a band is incredible. Thank you, Reelers, for helping to make our day so special!

Working with The Reelers was an absolute pleasure. Calvin and the band were so professional and easy to work with. We had a very complex show and some special requests and they accommodated them all. They’re also incredibly talented musicians and I highly recommend them.

The Reelers were AMAZING!!! We hired them for the beginning of our wedding and we are so VERY happy we did!! They were a huge part of our wedding as my husband is Irish, they brought that Irish feel to San Juan Capistrano, CA!! They NAILED it!! They even had 2 dancers for our cocktail hour which ALL of our guests LOVED!! Honestly, one of the best decisions we had for our wedding!!! Calvin was very sweet, professional and took the time to understand what we wanted and just made it happen!! AMAZING!!! Thank you so VERY much for making our wedding so special!!!!
