Red Feather Woman Storyteller from Denver, CO

Red Feather Woman aka Rose Red Elk is an international performing arts entertainer, known by her Native American traditional and stage name, Red Feather Woman. She is an accomplished storyteller and motivational/inspirational speaker, singer, songwriter and author from the Fort Peck Reservation in Poplar, Montana, and an enrolled member of the Sioux/Assiniboine Tribes. Red Feather Woman is also an award winning recording artist. Her albums are a unique blend of traditional spoken word that weaves the traditional mysticism of Native American stories into original contemporary songs. Storytelling in a inspirational style- I use traditional American Indian stories that uplift and give hope to the human spirit, blending the values and accomplishments of my own true life experiences, growing up in a dysfunctional family, with many hardships to overcome. Fortunately, I over came many obstacles to obtain three separate degrees, the last from Texas A&M University, College Station, TX. All of these accomplishments while a single mom with four children at home. Speaker: I wear my traditional dress, topics are all positive, and can be tailored.
