Paula Wingo Motivational Speaker from New Llano, LA

Paula Wingo was born in Nuremberg, Germany.  Born in a military family, she was the very shy sibling of 4.  Ms  Wingo, Yesterday, Child Victim- Today Women Survivor of    Child molestation and rape.  Because of yesterday, Ms Wingo remained socially withdrawn. She silently struggled with depression and suicide because she was so different and did not want to be here.  She joined the Navy in 1984.  Joining the Navy was her planned remedy to overcome her shy personality. Through these shy emotions she finally saw, "God had a plan."  Because of Today-Women Survivor, Ms Wingo began to find her voice and shoes (her faith). Ms Wingo received a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Management in 1993, Retired from the Navy in 2004. In 2012, Ms Wingo stepped out on Faith, leaving her full time job to pursue a career as a MaryKay Consultant, began research for her book and opened the door as a speaker for all women to, "Find their Shoes". Earned a Master of Science degree in Administration - May 2013.  Currently an active member of Greater Bethel African Methodist Episcopal (A.M.E.) Church in leesville, Louisiana, Member and President of the Women's Missionary Society , Greater Bethel A.M.E. Leesville, and an active member, NAUW (National Association of University Women) and Member and Speaker of zpower Forward Women, CEO- Star Williams. Ms Wingo believes that if personal experiences are revealed to one another, one may choose supportive services over suicide, or seek others for help.  Others may even realize that they are not alone.  As a result, trying to reach as many women and operating as a mentor should be never-ending. Repetitious reminders that they are not alone and offering plans how they can make it should be our aim.  Let's Find our Shoes!
