Carly and Martina are extraordinary fifteen year old twins motivational speakers, singer-songwriters and musicians! Instead of retreating as victims when they were bullied at 13 years old, twin sisters Carly and Martina took control of their emotions by writing a song - "Make Me Happy" - with a universal message that inspires others to become the gatekeepers of their emotions and their future. Carly and Martina transformed a bad situation into something extraordinary. Now 15, Carly and Martina have built a blossoming music career, releasing 10 original songs, gathering a worldwide base of avid fans and have become tremendous public speakers. Teenagers relate to Carly and Martina because they speak as their peers. Adults relate to Carly and Martina because of their extraordinary maturity on and off the stage. Carly and Martina have led a full day of break-out sessions of an entire sixth grade student body (110 students) discussing anti-bullying and self-esteem issues and how to use a passion as an outlet and channel to negative energy into positive energy. Carly and Martina have honed in on their public speaking skills from their experiences of performing at over twenty-five venues throughout the US, including 54 Below and The Bitter End in New York and Nichols Hall and The Four Seasons Hotel in Chicago. They performed on a national stage on behalf of NoBully.org and as a result were asked to give a TEDxTalk as part of TEDxIIT at IIT University in Chicago this year.
