CUPOLA Indie Rock Band from Mineral Point, WI

CUPOLA is a sonic sweeping, genre-jumping, melodic three piece Indie band, who are currently based in the south west wilds of Wisconsin: A little town called Mineral Point - a place where cowboys, wrestlers and cheese heads co-exist, & clash alongside artists, and big city refugees. CUPOLA formed in 2012 after singer-songwriter, & author, Lily Bragge who hails from Oz (Australia), married drummer and Washington DC boy, Gregory 'Salty' Merrick. The duo hooked up with Wisco-born and bred guitarist and singer-songwriter, Jesse Bauman to form the band, whose name, most people cannot agree on how to pronounce (Koo-pah-la). With a set list comprising of original & well known tunes, CUPOLA puts their unique stamp on popular songs by artists as diverse as Johnny Cash, Chuck Berry, Howlin' Wolf, George Jones, Feist, Jack White & Gram Parsons. Taking the crowd on one big ride: from foot stomping, hand clapping & rocking out, to dance numbers and tunes that speak of melancholy - the sweet, and the soulful.
