Alan Sands has been a professional entertainer since before he was born and is a 3rd generation performer. He has worked around the world including 46 US States and over 100 fortune 500 companies, Las Vegas and cruise ships. He works every year for 25-30 high schools, colleges, universities, Fairs, Festivals and an occasional amusement park - It's a "clean Show" but, it is not what Alan has done that will make you book him - what you want to know is, "what will he do for ME?"
QUOTE: "You did an amazing job and I have to say my son. was a bit doubtful.. and being a snotty teen at times.. said 'I don't think that will be fun..' Surprise!! first thing this morning despite being exhausted.. I said 'so.. did you have fun.. ?' He said you, the hypnotist was hysterical!! That was the best thing of the whole night... GRAD NIGHT ORGANIZER
Alan Sands does two shows: His 60-90 minute comedy hypnosis show is one of the most powerful forms of entertainment you will ever witness because it is not just the talent of Alan on stage, "The SandMan" releases the child locked inside the volunteers who come on stage and participate.
When the conscious, critical and analytical mind is put at rest, the subconscious mind is allowed to come out and play. Alan directs the show by making suggestions, similar to an improv show, and the guests whom volunteer are the improvisers - they act out the routines as they each imagine them.
QUOTE: I was told you were much better than the last one we hired. When I told them we would be doing karaoke for a few years, since I blew the budget, one person stated just not to have entertainment until I could get you back." – CORPORATE HOLIDAY ORGANIZER
From hot and cold, to movies that are funny, sad and scary - the fun is just beginning. Volunteers ride a 250 ft. roller coaster and go bungee jumping. Imagine your feet itching like they have a fungus and the only relief you can get is from scratching another person's foot high above their head; or your spirit has been removed from your body and placed inside two dozen different things from a: gold fish, washing machine, microwave popcorn, milk cow, jack hammer, a surfer, a Hawaiian dancer, an air guitar competitor, to a fashion model...
Alan works exclusively for clients that require a "Family Show" including colleges, high schools, corporate events, fairs & festivals. This hypnotist does nothing he wouldn't want his own teenage daughter subjected to by someone on a stage in public.
Alan's 2nd act is a prop-comedy, audience participation magic and escape show. Seasoned as a street-performer in San Francisco and the Catskill Hotels of upstate NY, this 35-minute fast-paced comedy show will leave people laughing so hard they cry.
QUOTE: "Thanks You, Thank You , Thank You.....Clap, Clap, Clap!!!" – POST-PROM ORGANIZER
Alan's father was a creator, writer and lecturer to other magicians. Alan grew up watching his father entertain for every type of audience imaginable before he ever began to develop his own act and style.
This act is infallible for any audience age 7 to 107. Incorporating classic routines, comedy escapes, eccentric balloon routines and audience participation that make your guests the stars of the show - this 35-minute routine is solid fun for everyone.
Alan often performs both acts as a comedy concert - a show that will last over 2 hours, and Alan GUARANTEES no one will leave because they were bored.
QUOTE: "Spellbinding" – TWIN FALLS ID NEWSPAPER / RE: THE TWIN FALLS COUNTY FAIR
The consummate professional, when you need to entertain important corporate clients, or want a show that is virtually impossible to top, give this entertainer a whirl and you will understand why many high school late night parties have used Alan Sands for 18 years in a row, county fairs have used him over 10 years and corporations hire him back again and again, even for the same audiences!
QUOTE: "Your show was absolutely AWSOME!!! I was AMAZED! Next year Is my senior year and I'm definetly going 2 volunteer to be hypnotized!!! I REALLY HOPE YOU'LL BE THERE TO DO IT AGAIN!!!! ha ha thanx again..." – HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT
