Julie Buzzelli is a captivating performer who appears regularly as a freelance musician in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan She has over 35 years experience playing wedding ceremonies, receptions, and special events. The unique sound of the harp adds a special touch to any elegant occasion. Its beautiful soothing sounds are the perfect finishing touch to a corporate event, Christmas open house, birthday brunch, wedding rehearsal dinner, or dinner music for the wedding reception. With many years of playing experience Julie Buzzelli is a professional harpist who will add an air of elegance to your special event. She generally plays classical harp music as well as transcriptions of famous classical works. These include works such as Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, Vivaldi's the Four Seasons, Chopin piano preludes, and famous works by Debussy such as Claire de Lune, First Arabesque and La Fille aux Cheveaux de Lin. Upon special request she will also include Celtic music, Hebrew music, holiday music, and popular music. As a chamber musician she works frequently with other musicians. These other instrumentalists include professional musicians playing guitar, violin, flute, and voice. In addition to a demanding performance schedule she is currently the Adjunct Assistant Professor of Harp at Bowling Green State University and is a sought after teacher with a thriving private studio as well. Over the past year Julie is proud to have become affiliated with Radiant TV as a featured artist. She has completed many arrangements of familiar hymn tunes which have been gracefully intermingled with classical pieces of music. In the coming months she hopes to have these arrangements and their recordings available for purchase.
