The Calvin Brown Band provides blues, funk and a mixture of jazz and pop tunes per show. We perform for weddings, funerals, corporate parties, birthdays, special entertainment events. We're open for all your needs to create that special environment of celebration and a great atmosphere. To name a few we do cover tunes from Stevie Wonder, Adele, BB King, Herbie Hancock and the Gap Band. The band consist of Van on guitar, Calvin on keyboards, Tony on drums, and David on bass - so four guys depending on your needs, and a front singer at times. We offer jazz, blues, funk and pop band depending on your needs and event. The Calvin Brown Band also plays rock and 80's Classic music, 60's-70's music, Sly Stone, Otis Redding, Morris Day, Muddy Waters, Prince, and some country music as well. Feel free to ask questions, we will work hard to bring the best performance we can offer!

Not only was online booking an ease, Calvin Brown personally followed up to confirm the event and collect specific information that was pertinent to tailor the performance. Party planning is particularly stressful and causes one to experience high levels of anxiety, Calvin Brown periodically sent emails and texts that eased my level of anxiety, from the initial booking up to the actual date of the event. Because we were having the party in the back yard on grass, there were specifics that I didn't consider but Calvin came prepared with a tent, extension cords and covering for the ground to protect his equipment. My guests are still in awe at their performance.
