The Versus Live Quiz Show is an interactive trivia competition for groups of 20-150 people. We supply a slick Hollywood-style game show set complete with a 60" video projection system, DJ sound equipment, specially lighted contestant podiums, and a host with personality.
Our events create a fun atmosphere where your guests naturally interact and get to know each other. This is perfect for corporate events, private parties, or for clubs and restaurants. Our show is highly customizable for your event or venue and can range from tame and fully family-friendly to a racy R-Rated adults only competition.
Guests who sign up to participate in the show will represent either the Red Team or the Gold Team as they compete against another player to correctly answer a series of eight humorous and entertaining trivia questions. The high-scoring player stays for an extra round, while the new challenger gets to choose the category for the upcoming round.
Our computer controlled gaming system presents questions in a multimedia format that can include photos and sound clips for innovative categories like name the tune, name the celebrity, name the TV show, and more. A multidimensional scoring system creates "Winners" in categories such as Highest Single Round, Highest Cumulative Score, Best Average, Most Correct Answers and so forth. Player compete for bragging rights, or for prizes that you provide.
Between rounds guests can dance and mingle while enjoying a variety of popular music accompanied by continuous on-screen entertainment, including jokes and one-liners, sight-gags, and more than a dozen dynamic scoreboards.
As a weekly event for clubs we provide a complete 4-hour show with twenty new categories and 160 new questions per week. For one-time events organizers can choose either a two-hour or a four-hour show, and can select their own trivia categories from a menu of hundreds of options.
For both weekly and one-time events an unlimited number of user created intermission slides can be shown in random rotation during intermissions. For private parties these can be your family photos or anything else you like. For clubs and corporate events these slides can promote your club, your products, or your upcoming events. Slides should be provided to the host as 800x600 JPG images at least 24 hours in advance.
Our graphic artist can also create custom slides and slide-shows for you. The creation of up to five slides is included in the price when you book three shows in the same month. For private parties and one-time events we offer photo scanning services and the creation of custom slides and slide-shows for a nominal fee.
Custom quizzes can also be created for a nominal fee, and can include your photos, sounds and artwork. For Birthdays, Anniversaries, or Weddings these could be questions about family members, photo quizzes such as identifying family members from baby pictures, or anything else you can imagine. For corporate events questions can cover your product lines, corporate culture, etc. This is a great way for families to get to know each other, or for businesses to drive home the educational aspects of their presentations in an entertaining way.
We discount for multiple bookings and for venues that provide their own PA equipment (minimum 150 Watts with 4 XLR Mic Inputs and 1 RCA Stereo Pair Tape or CD Input).
We need about as much space as a Karaoke set-up, around 6' by 8' at a minimum. We use a short-throw video projection system that gives a bright 60" display in low to medium light that can be enjoyed by most from as much as 30 feet away. For larger venues in addition to our projector we can tap into your existing TV array or projection system using wireless technology to get the show to all parts of the room.
Our show cannot be set-up outside, including on patios, for a number of reasons including the risk of the screen being blown over by wind. Be aware that both the projected screen and the stage-lighting require low to medium light levels, such as would be typical in most lounges. Before booking the host will want to visit your location ensure that an appropriate area is available in terms of space, electricity requirements, and lighting conditions.
