Funkativity is a show & festival Groove Machine delivering funk and jazz from the 60's and 70's We specialize in that cool summer music. That dance music of funk before drum machines. We have a full rhythm section drums, bass, guitar, keyboards plus three horns, percussionist and a vocalist. We are able return to the sound of funk from Parliament\Funkadelic, Earth, Wind & Fire, or James Brown to the jazz funk of Herbie Hancock, Grover Washington Jr., and The Crusaders. Yes, Funkativity's groove comes from our desire to return to the real essence of the funk, and groove the audience! So if its funk you want, then Funkativity it is!
