As someone who grew up between West Africa, the Mediterranean (Beirut) and New England, Pickles & Peas Chef and creator, Omar Saad, brings a fresh flavor sensation and a unique food experience to the culinary field. The son of legendary restauranteur, Omar also worked alongside renowned chefs like Bradley Odgen and Paul Bartollotta in Las Vegas. After spending eight years as a Director of Reastaurants at the Ritz Carlton, Omar naturally merged his kitchen experience with his culinary acumen to launch his most passionate project to date: PICKLES & PEAS. Pickles & Peas is a modern Mediterranean food truck focused on delivering fresh, sophisticated, and scrumptious fares. Our catering events will feature an array of fresh and grilled vegetables, freshly baked breads, marinated chicken, beef, lamb and salmon, seasoned to perfection falafel, pommes frites with garlic aioli, grilled avovados sprinkled with feta cheese, and our daily house-churned hummus, just to name a few. Pickles & Peas has had the pleasure of catering small events like birthday and graduation parties with a guest list of 50, medium events like The Producer's Guild of America's annual party with a guest list of 250, and larger events like private Christmas parties with a guest list of over 450.
