Burning Down Rome Variety Band from New York City, NY

Burning Down Rome is a unique, three-man acoustic group based in New York. Our music is a combination of classical, folk, rock, and improvisational styles, which allows for a wide variety of music lovers. Mathew Gelfer, Nicholas Orifici, and Michael Vuoso make up the group. All conservatory trained musicians from Juilliard, Mannes, Manhattan School of Music, and Berklee College, the members of Burning Down Rome present a show rich in diversity, with instrumentation changing from each song to song and a highly professional blending of styles that audiences have responded to with intrigue and satisfaction. Unplugged or amped up, Burning Down Rome’s versatility and faculty make for a mature and exciting performance.
