But she is much more than that, as well. She is not afraid to tackle the issues of the world in her songs, either with humor or seriousness, but the songs that lightly tap at the soul asking for entry and companionship are those that deal with the stories of her life, her loves, and her pain. Kit leaves everything on the table and then quietly departs, allowing you, the listener, to sort through the items and take what you will. She doesn't force it. She never has to."

I would not hire Kit Nelson if you LIVE IN CANADA! We were informed of a potential border problem 2 weeks before the wedding via email, after we hired 6 months in advance under the impression she had performed in Canada mulitple times. Unfortunetly Kit and her band did not show up for our Ceremony or Reception as planned. We had no for warning, and we had to send the grooms father to run and buy speakers. Kit felt very bad and did show up solo many hours late to play our first dance and lent us her mike for speeches. It most certianly was NOT worth the deposit we paid. She is very talented but not reliable.
