Huei-Mei Jhou (May) Flutist from Minneapolis, MN

Hi, my name is Huei-Mei Jhou, but you can call me May. I speak English (and Chinese!) fluently. Whether you are looking for solo flute, flute & piano, or flute & guitar as a duo, professional flutist Huei-Mei (May) is the person to contact. I will arrive ahead of time to set up. I provide my own instrument, and music stand. If you have special requests for music let me know. Please feel free to specify a genre of music you prefer, such as pop, classical, sacred, or folk. I am an international flute professional who began playing since I was 10 years old. I have participated in a variety of music ensembles, orchestras, and chamber ensembles in the United States and Southeast Asia as Principal flutist performing varied styles from Baroque to Modern. Currently, I also regularly invited to teach at the Minnesota All-State Band, International Music Camp, Minnesota Music Teachers Association, and Minnesota Music Educators Association as a guest clinician and sectional coach. I completed Doctorate of Music Arts Degree under Prof. Immanuel Davis at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities campus.
