I hired a face painter from Snappy Face Painting for a 60s theme party for adults. The gal who arrived was not neatly dressed, nor did it seem she had showered. And even though I had made it very clear that the party was for adults, she seemed surprised, and said that she had only worked with kids before...and that she had only been face painting for a few months. She was also not prepared with ideas for designs to go with the theme (1960s). She was looking up images on her phone and asking me for ideas...even though I had sent my ideas in my emails a week prior to the booking. Overall, I thought she was unprofessional and a downer.

My four year old daughter and her twenty little friends were all thrilled with Snappy Face Painting's speedy, versatile and beautiful designs. Leslie basically painted whatever the child requested - tigers, unicorns, pirates, princesses, etc. One word to the wise - if you a pushing the limit on time vs. # of children wanting their faces to be painted, then create a wait list system before the party. The kids spent a long time waiting in line, until one parent wrote out two sets of numbers from 1-20, gave one set to Leslie, and had parents pick the matching numbers from a hat, to be called up for face painting. That way, everyone enjoyed the rest of the party!
