I am a special events aficionado who has honed skills in Event Planning, Design, and Production. With an affinity for events, I founded Squizit, an events, and catering company, at the age of 18. The successful venture catered and planned over 50 weddings in the five boroughs within two years. Squizit was also responsible for launching educational programs to support the Teens in Fashion Initiative, which ultimately led to designer Indashio to win VH-1's hit reality show, Glam God. My career in events has been influenced by my first jobs assisting top trending venues that included Cafe 2 and Terrace 5 at MoMA and Splashlight Studios where I had the honor of catering photo shoots and events for clients such as Oprah, Kate Winslet, Jay Z, Shakira, Lady Gaga, Macy's, V Magazine, Ann Taylor, New York Magazine and more. A brief internship at Marc Wilson Design (now MWD Lifestyles) in 2011 soon gave way to a full-time role as Executive Event Producer. Since then, I have assisted MWD Lifestyles for mile-marker events that include Magic Johnson's Aspire Network Launch Event, Groupon and Gwyneth Paltrow's Cooking Demo and Book Launch, Marc Anthony's 40th Birthday Celebration, Essence Magazine's Fierce and Fabulous Awards Luncheon, Annual Spring Apollo Theater Gala and more. In addition to MWD Lifestyles, I represent Punto, a multi-level storefront loft venue in New York City boasting over 3,000 square feet and with a client list including the likes of Uzo Aduba of Orange is the New Black, Bella Magazine, Curated Vibes Group, Primal NY, Warner Bros., Sweetgreen, Nomadness Travel Tribe, and more. Suffice it to say, I love events!
