The Free Loaders is Dallas' best blues/jazz/swing band, great for parties or events where you want a truly unique band that does music from 1900 to 2013. All in the vein of jazz/blues/swing/fun. The band has a Louis Armstrong/Howlin' Wolf feel to it, with a huge New Orleans influence. Led by graveled voice crooner John Jay Myers, the band can morph from 3 members to up to 8 members depending on your needs and budget. They can also play 3 hours of music as if they were a "lounge" act or 3 hours of music geared for a party. Or a nice blend of either. Unlike a lot of other "party bands" this band is not just an assemblage of random musicians, it is a style, a groove, a feeling. It is something special. Our most common line up is as a 6 piece which includes 2 singers, drums, guitar, keyboards, bass, and two horns.
