As you may know, Scott comes from Pensacola, Florida. Influenced early on by bluegrass icons Tony Rice and Sam Bush. Scott started playing their music at folk and bluegrass concerts at festivals in the Gulf Coast.
Scott has played with:
LRB's Sammy Shelor, flatpicker Steve Kaufman, TR3's Dan Martier, Country Singer/HGTV Host Katie Rogers, award winning bassist Edgar Meyer, Glen Phillips of Toad the Wet Sprocket, and many more.
Recently, Scott has been writing music for his first Americana/Folk album and has a total of 20 years of experience playing music for crowds of 3,000+.
You can normally catch Scott playing as a solo act, with his band, "the Rail", his collaboration with Sammy Shelor "Big Virginia Sky" and with local and nationally famous musicians.
