Organ Grinder Lola! Singer from Rockville, MD

Friendly, lively Organ Grinder! I come to your fair, festival, family party, Oktoberfest, senior home, school, and any other fun event. I am Organ Grinder Lola, and I crank my beautiful, hand-crafted German Drehorgel (crank organ), from my hometown in Germany's Black Forest. -- I come as a solo act, or as a two-person attraction together with Master Bob. And, of course, we have Panchito, the Monkey (he is a stuffed toy). If you want authentic German Oktoberfest songs, or old-time street ballads, I crank the music rolls, and I sing, either in my native German or in English. Master Bob and I take turns cranking the organ. We have many lively instrumental selections, too: French musettes, waltzes and polkas from Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Poland, Germany, English music hall tunes, and American folk songs. We also have some current fun songs, and we encourage people to sing along. We're great with kids, and we allow them to peer inside the instrument. If they ask nicely, they can take a turn at the crank handle. It's lots of fun. We've played at the Germantown Oktoberfest for the past 4 years, and we always get invited back. Same at the Lovettsville Oktoberfest in Virginia. We've played Christmas Markets in Downtown Washington DC, and at Tyson's Corner. We bring our English carols, American holiday tunes, and original German Weihnachtslieder, and we'll lead you all in song, also handing out song sheets, if requested. We're colorful, lively, and a bit rambunctious. Come have fun with us.
