Jessica Taylor Jazz Singer from Rancho Mirage, CA

I sang with Platter Groups for 20 yrs. The First group I sang with was known as, 'The Amazing Platters, Eddie Daniels group formed out of Zola Taylor, the Original female singer of This Famous Group. The last one I sang with was group known as, 'The Platters' Featuring, The Legendary Monroe Powell. July 31, 2015, I was recognized as a Jazz Living Legend at LAMAC and awarded three certificates from, The Jazz Living Legend Foundation, The County of LA, signed by Mark Ridley-Thomas Supervisor, Second District, The City of LA, signed by our Mayor, Eric Garcetti and finally, a Jazzaration Awards plaque. I'm a strong solo performer and lead singer with a vocal range of 1st & 2nd soprano & alto. I also do session work and sing background with a great ear for harmony. I currently perform as a solo artist. I'm working promoting my CD and self as a solo artist. This allows me a greater freedom of expression in a variety of music venues/ My strong suit in music ranges from Standards, Jazz, R/B, Gospel, Contemporary and even a little C&W music.
