Nick Weinacker has several world renown aliases with a cult like following. "The Voice of Wakeboarding" "Tha NIC on Tha MIC" "Captain Fun" Nick got his start as a speaker / entertainer / personality on the Pro Wakeboard Tour in 2001. As one of the top competitive athletes and a member of the pioneering group of innovators known as "Pointless", Nick say's this about his first appearance on the air: "I was sitting in the tower with the other announcers and judges and found that the sport was growing at a rate that those guys weren't up to date on the athletes stories or the tricks...So when they interviewed me... I just grabbed the mic and started calling tricks. The Pro Tour called the next week and asked if they could pay me to do the next event the same way! I said...You'd actually pay me for that?" Tha NIC on Tha MIC was born and became The Voice of the Pro Tour continuing on for the past 15 years. Highlights during that time were T.V. hosting major Championships for primetime TV networks including ESPN, MTV, and X-Games. Also, Nick has commanded the stage for live festival / sporting events in front of raging crowds of more than 50,000 people; Introduced musical legends such as De La Sol in Canada and KID Rock in Tempe, AZ. While learning to be an entrepreneur within action sports, Nick was sought after by industry leaders to travel for branding, sales, and marketing. During his 14 year athletic career, Nick traveled internationally as far as Japan, Australia, and Russia as an ambassador and marketing specialist. Large Boat Show conventions were a real world testing ground for Nick to develop interpersonal sales skills, brand recognition, and team building. Traveling to as many as 13 shows during the spring season alone, Nick became Tige Boats #1 Athlete sales liaison. After placing 6th in the World Championships in 2008, Nick retired from competitive wakeboarding and continued to pursue a career in Sales and Marketing where he found himself quickly back on stage, but now in a professional speaking and training role. Nick has spent decades studying the greats of marketing, personal development, and motivational speaking such as Jim Rohn, John Maxwell, and Anthony Robbins. Initially he used these principles for team building and has personally created, led, and trained a sales force around the world generating millions in sales and profits. Nick works with Fortune 500 companies currently and is commonly found onstage as the Emcee for very large Cordials, Banquets, Award Ceremonies, and major Recognition events.
