With over 10 years' experience, as an Emcee, my role is to warm up the crowd, prepare them for the program ahead and keep the audience engaged throughout the event. I am there to make the main stars of the event look good. I am there to make sure there are smooth transitions between the different segments of the program so that it flows as seamlessly as possible. I am there to make guests feel welcomed, comfortable and appreciated. The laughs and memorable moments I can contribute too for all, are staples of the emcee experience I try to offer.Often, guests at my event share regrets at not having planned or invested in a professional emcee to help make the event memorable for their guests. Having an emcee who values the art of being a purposeful mistress of ceremony is money well spent! More then the microphone: I started 10 years ago at a freinds wedding, when the the chosen MC, brother of the birde seemed shy and had difficulty engaging with th crowd at the wedding. I went tp to the front and grabbed the second microphone to provide him with some supprot nad a break and I ended up taking over. I have Univerdity education in communication and management, professional trainign and certification in project managmeent and its so happens that I have a natural disposition to be an extravert and be very organized and love planning gatehering of all kinds. My Emcee package includes different combination of MCing the event, to working with the event planner on satelite events to the main event (eg: bachelorette, bridal shower), coordinating logisitics, DJ support- For non weddings and celebrations, I offer mediation, focus group facilitation, conference gosting, meetings, conferences, gala, etc... It's not just about what is said and done when I have the microphone and or am on stage, it's about also about keeping time, interacting with guests, special family members off the microphone (when possible going to the tables and speaking to the guests) and the collaboration with the other worker bees (communicating with catering, assisting the event coordinator, working with the identifying guests with special needs, last minute changes and spontaneous requests). I offer a professional MC experience, work towards setting an energetic mood to your event, on and off the microphone to have your guest feeling confident that they are in for a special treat and allow the real stars of the event to relax and enjoy the spotlight. Should there be any hiccups, I will ensure minimal disruptions to the program, and remain cool, calm and smiling. Montréal and Beyond: Based out of Montreal, Québec, Canada, I have emceed events in Montreal and surrounding cities (Sainte-Julie, Longueil, Mont-Tremblant, Laval), Sherbrooke and Eastern Townships. I have traveled to Québec city, the Saguenay region, outside of Québec, the city of Ottawa has allowed to entertain some wonderful groups Ottawa, Hamilton, Toronto, Banff and Vancouver. I don't just work in Canada, I appreciate international clients who allow me opportunities to travel. I have had the pleasure of hosting events in Washington DC, New York and Miami and would be happy to do so in Vermont and New England states near the Canadian border and elsewhere in the USA. I also have had a few memorable international events in Abidjan, Dakar, Bamako in and most recently Suva Fiji! Yes Fiji!! I have yet to host a stars' event but there have been stars at some event and persons personalities in their fields.
