We at ViViD Sounds would love to DJ! Not only do we have radio and club experience, but we have DJed events/places such as Images Night Club, weddings, University dances, private parties, sorority formals, community events, birthday parties, block parties, graduation parties, and more! Our clients include major businesses like Loyola University, and Illinois Tech University. In addition, we do major Chicago-land community events such as the Diabetes Foundation event in Chicago. We are proud to say that because of our personal attention and care for customer satisfaction we have NEVER received any negative feedback!
We at ViViD Sounds are friendly and really do cater to our clients. We offer services that include wireless microphones for announcements, personalized announcements and your own selection of music. We have also recently invested in the newest and most high-tech state of the art DJ equipment which allows your requested songs or any song in our extensive music library to be found and played all within seconds. This is just one more way ViViD Sounds brings your songs to life in only moments.

This phenomenal lighting system is valued at $1700, and we are happy to work with you personally to negotiate a reasonable price for the lights if you are indeed interested. He did a nice job and went thru our request list. The only small complaint I had was that he was supposed to play for 3 hours and we were short about 10 minutes because of set up. But all in all it was a good experience and I would consider booking with them again.

It is hard for me to know how talented he is because my party didn't require him to do anything except play the music we had requested. It was mostly during the eating time and people were sitting at tables eating and talking. There were a couple of games going on in the yard after dinner so the kids weren't too interested in dancing. They did dance a little, but not like a wild party. He was quick to turn the music up and down when I asked him to and was very, very nice and professional. This was a high school graduation party with many shy and quite kids and parents. Some church friends and neighbors, along with some older adults which naturally affects a kid's true personality. They don't want their parents to watch them dance!
The only time I heard the D.J.'s voice was when I asked him to get the guest of honor and his girfriend up to show everyone how to dance. When he did, his voice was indeed that of a D.J. and I wished that I had thought of some trivval questions for him to ask the kids for a prize of something like a case of root beer. I believe this would bring the audience in to HIM more, rather their own conversations. I would have enjoyed listening to his great radio voice a little more.
I would difinitly hire him again, but would ask him to turn on his personality ( even though I told him to be background music), and make people WANT to watch and communicate with HIM. I would ask him to announce the band and title of the music and maybe share any interesting information about a band member or particular song. He could have still remained background music even with more verbal communication. I am sorry that I instructed him to be in the background so much. Live and learn!
To anyone thinking about hiring Jason, you can't go wrong as he will do exactly what you ask him to and he comes with huge speakers and great looking equipment. He was right on time, and started the music promply at the agreed time. Just think about telling him to feel free to do his on Thing. He is the professional, not you! Ha!

We were very excited to have DJ ViViD! He was a very professional young man. I would glady hire him again to preform for us! He was very accommodating and gave an Out Standing performance. Every one I spoke with loved him. I will book him for future events, no questions asked!
