Superior Light ane Sound did a really great job! they were on time, set up accordingly, and were extremely accomodating. the DJ even took notice of the type of songs that were recieving better responses and made sure that everyone got to listen to his/her song yet still keeping the entire groupd happy. it was an overall great night.

Wayne was great.....our event was not what we had hoped it would be, but Wayne made it fun for those who attended and I would use him again and recommend Superior Light and Sound to anyone.

There were some glitches in the evening starting with the DJ arriving late. He was very fair in adjusting the bill to compensate for the errors, all in all, we are OK with it, though I probably would not hire again.

:

I was on time and set up for the reception 15 min before the ceremony was over. However, my customer was right about the glitches and I refunded her money in full without her even asking for a refund.

DJ was very reluctant to make suggestions. This was frustrating for me as many of the artsists that my husband and I suggested for dinner-time jazz, he either hadn't heard of or didn't have. I had to find the title and artist of the song I wanted for the entrance to the reception of the Bride and Groom Was not set up in time for the prelude and unplugged speakers in inside buffet and cake cutting area, therefore, cake was cut without the song. I had to provide most cues to him. Though it was a chilly day for an outside wedding, the "kids" did dance to their more age appropriate and disco music. When crowd was thinning he should have gone with the flow of the group better. Though the weather was a factor, I believe if he could have better accommodated the crowd they may have stayed longer. I had to scurry to get the horse and carriage to the clubhouse about 1 hour early so their exit could be effective. Further, he asked a guest to dance, when he should have been doing his job. And sought her out afterwards to dance to a waltz, as well as waiting to leave the premises until after we "cleaned up" and gathered our belongings, placing gifts, etc. in the cars. I assumed to have another chance to see the guest he danced with.

All the parties lived in a different town made this outdoor wedding ceremony and reception hard to plan. I could not drive 240 miles to meet the bride and groom to plan their wedding. It was true that I didn’t have some of the music the bride’s father suggested for dinner. However, the father and mother seem well please with what I had. The weather was very cold and the wind was blowin’ 30 mph plus, which cause plans to change during the reception. It was only proper for me to take cues from the bride’s mother, when plans change due to inclement weather. I did ask the bride’s grand mother a couple times to dance. I believe the parents would agree, the outcome

The overall talent score of "3" isn't that he wasn't good, it just wasn't a talking/emcee sort of performance. Since it was just playing the music, talent wasn't really a scoring factor. Wayne was great though. He asked frequently for any requests and came up with just about everything we asked for (including the Irish national anthem). Thanks for the help in booking him.
