I have a unique approach to making that happen.
1. I am a DJ because I love music. I started back in the late 90's, made amateur mixtapes, and never let it go. I took on a mentor to work with locally in bars, and then later hired a professional DJ to get more technical training. My DJ highlights include a local celebrity singer's wedding (over 50 weddings to date), a residency at a Wisconsin ski resort, a residency at a bar in Palatine, Emcee and DJ for all Gladiator Assault Challenge events, and the regular special event DJ for a nationwide health club which has included the Chicago triathlon.
2. I am a certified Project Manager, and I treat your event like a project that has a very specific and measureable outcome. I evaluate the requirements we come up with together and I put the time in to put together a plan of success with you to make sure it is carried out. This includes not only the music you need, but the visual experience, the performance, the sound quality, and especially the personality you require to emcee the event. We will talk more than once before your event - GUARANTEED!
3. I own the equipment needed to make your event successful... no renting of "unknown used gear" necessary. Unless you want to throw an outdoor festival rivaling Electric Daisy Carnival, I have the equipment to make your wedding glamorous, make your birthday party electric, and bring attention to your fundraiser. Uplighting, motion lights, sound activated dancing lights, lights in the speakers, backlighting, spotlights (wedding photographers LOVE spotlights done correctly!), multiple DJ setups, band/DJ combined setups, separate location setups, specialized remixed intro music, projection screen for photo/video displays, and several microphones are all options we can design your event with.
4. I will work within your budget to deliver the best experience possible. Event planning, setup, execution, and teardown is a "get what you pay for" industry, so the cheapest options are never the best. We will discuss what you need and find an appropriate expense.
