I after emailing and calling DJ NYCE we meet at Starbucks to review the playlist and setup for the wedding ceremony and reception. DJ NYCE put my mind at ease when he told me about his DJ history and some of the events he has done. He showed up early to our wedding and his setup was very quick. DJ NYCE played most of the songs we requested, got a feel for the guest and played music that everyone loved. I HIGHLY recommend DJ NYCE for your next event!

With the price paid ($550) and the fact that none of the music we painstakingly provided was played, that was a bit of a let down. We worked on a playlist and tracks we wanted played for a period of time, so it was disappointing to only get less than 10 of the tracks we requested.
The guests had a great time overall, the DJ can keep the crowd moving on a pre-packaged playlist. The DJ was on time, and played all night.

The rate given to the client was extremely reasonable given the duration of the event. Also the booking was last minute and i was very accommodating given the prep time of less than 24 hours.
The client wanted a wide range of east, west and south african music played throughout the night which i did. The music that was not played was supposed to be given to me prior to the event. I did not receive that music until 1 hour in to the event.
I am sorry that the client feels this way about my performance, but her guests and the manager of the venue does not agree. I have received several inquiries and/or bookings from performing that night.

DJ Nyce was FABULOUS! I can't say enough about how happy everyone at my daughter's sweet sixteen party was about him. He was very accommodating to our daughter's requests and kept the party going the whole night. I would absolutely recommend him for any dance party or special event.

I thought Dj Nyce was.professional and talented. However he didn't play what I sent to him in my playlist. He didn't read the crowd or appease my request until the last hour when people started leaving. I let him know 4-5 times to please play my requested music. I found myself and guests were not pleased with his music selection. If you love Baltimore club music and hard rap I would recommend him. He was professional and on time. I was left very disappointed that he couldn't move my party in the direction I requested.

The client expected a large party and had an low turnout and seemed to blame the success of the event on me. For the first two hours i played to an empty room working in songs from her playlist. When people started to arrive i continued working in songs from her playlist. After noting that nobody was dancing (to her playlist), the client asked to switch it up, which i did. The dance floor remained packed for the remainder of the event (with songs very different from her playlist).
My record speaks for itself, the majority of my reviews are excellent. But my rating has been tainted with reviews such as these that are totally opposite of what happened at the event.

He did a pretty good job of mixing the music up. He didn't do very well with interacting with the party crowd from the mic. He didn't do well with incorporating song request from the host.

DJ Nyce was very helpful and accommodating leading up the event. He was willing to meet with us to discuss music selection and offered good suggestions. During the event, he kept people engaged with his music choices and the dancing was fun.
Our biggest issue was that the day of the event, DJ Nyce arrived an hour and a half late without calling in advance. He arrived just as the music was supposed to start playing for our wedding ceremony. He said he was lost, and cell reception was a challenge, but he should have at least texted us to let us know what was happening. Thanks to quick setup, the event was not disrupted but it was very stressful.

DJ Nyce played for our wedding reception. He kept the crowd dancing all night long. We were sorry that we only had the venue for so much time as I am sure DJ Nyce could have kept the party going for at least a few more hours!
