You might ask yourself, "How do I know that I am getting a very good DJ?" Well, after having over 10 great years experience as a professional DJ, I learned a DJ is probably the one vendor who can truly make or break your event. If they're great (like me), the dance floor will be packed and your event will be remembered as the most awesome party. But a terrible DJ can not only bore your guests to tears, but also shock and offend.

Q.) Do you have a written contract?
A.) YES. As with the rest of your wedding vendors, do NOT proceed without a written contract. You work hard for your money and I do too. I want to make sure you are getting the best value for your money.
Q.) Will you work with my playlist AND my do not play list?
A.) OF COURSE. DJs love to have autonomy and play whatever they want to. But since it's your event, you should get to have input about what gets played and on what doesn't. I like to make your event is custom tailored just for your taste. If you are not sure, then I would love to assist. I TRULEY LOVE MUSIC.
Q.) Will your equipment allow you to mix one song into another so that there are no breaks in between songs?
A.) YES. One of the top reasons to hire a wedding DJ rather than just using an iPod is that they should be able to provide a seamless flow of music. I have over 20,000 (500 gigabytes) songs from a diverse musical catalogue.
Q.) Will you act as emcee and announce the cake cutting, first dance, toasts, etc?
A.) YES. I am used to making announcements as efficient as possible without boring your audience
Q.) Do your prices include the sound system, speakers, microphone for the toasts, etc?
A.) YES, THEY ARE INCLUDED IN MY PRICES. Each of these extras can add up quickly. Your event space may already have them available, but it's good to have backups in case of equipment failure.
Q.) What do you wear as a wedding DJ?
A.) I like to make sure I coordinate outfits as close to the event as possible. I have received a lot of compliments because people were pleasantly surprised that i know how to dress appropriately.
