Mark did a great job and handled my event with great energy and willingness to accomadate my needs. I believe he really cared for the performance he was providing for my event and his guitar playing was outstanding. I would recommend his service for others based off his work for my parents 50th wedding anniversary event. Thank you.

DJ Mark was great. He had great energy and kept our hectic Fashion Show upbeat. The music was great. He just met the Emcee that morning and they had a great relationship and he know how to play off of her ques and knew when to turn the music up or down. I would definetely use him for another event!

I am disappointed in professionalism and experience I had with DJ Mark. In the week leading up to the event, I emailed him 4x to make sure he was prepared and understood the expectations including music choice, AV needs, location, duration of gig, etc. I never received a response. I called him the day before as well as the day of more than 17x, I left 4 vms AND called GigMasters to follow up with him to reach him because I was nervous he wasn't going to show up. When he got there, he was unprepared and confused as to what we wanted. He was booked until 2am, but tried to leave at 1am and we ended up playing music off a guest's ipod bc he didn't have enough music.

I recieved 1 email 2 days before the event Thats it, not 4 emails. Coordinator called me the day of the event ( 4 times in a 30 minute span). I was driving couldnt respond right away. Apparently as she mentioned in her email she thought I was not going to show up???
1) I have been DJ ing for 20 years, have never even been late much less not show up.
2) As far as being unprepared I arrived TWO HOURS EARLY!!! Why? Coordinator set it up that way.
3) She made it clear that it was a 70"s theme party and that is what music is to be played.
4) Drunk, arragant, obnoxious guests demanded Techno house music. Not what I was prepared for. HORRIB

Though DJ Mark is very friendly and speaks very confidently about his ability to DJ, he lacked professionalism. Attire was unprofessional, PA system lacked quality sound for dancing. He used iTunes for mixing so he had no ability to control the transitions, thus the mixing was bad, no consistent groove. He drank while he worked and flirted with the other vendor and female guests. Dead air and songs cut short ruined the dancing experience. He packed up and left 1 hr early. PROS: Showed up on time. We definitely enjoyed a nice collection of songs for the dinner. We would like a refund and assurances that you will not be representing this DJ going forward.

I was told to dress casual which I did ( dresshirt/ khakis), the P.A. system is topnotch Bose system which is perfect for a 20x20ft room. I used Virtual DJ which is a pro DJ software program (so she assumed it was Itunes as I didnt use turntables). As far as mixing/ groove I was contantly getting interupted by drunk guest for requests which while accommadating them by retrieving songs NOT on host songlist might have created 2or3 cliches over a 4hour span.
I do NOT drink alcohol ever.I had a bottled water and sprite on ice.Dancing, Photobooth girl was bored and asked me to dance 4 one song,and a guest asked me to once . I was contracted 7-11pm stayed till11;15.
